Mr. Hunter is a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in the States of Arizona and Washington.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology from Western Washington University.  Eric Hunter has been working in the field of accident analysis and reconstruction since 2000.  He has testified as an expert in accident reconstruction and has been teaching in the field since 2008.

 

Eric Hunter has extensive experience conducting inspections involving heavy trucks, passenger vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, as well as other industrial motorized vehicles and equipment.  Utilizing advanced simulation software, Mr. Hunter is able to analyze complex 3-dimensional accidents and create scientifically accurate reconstructions.

 

Mr. Hunter is qualified to download and analyze all types of Event Data Recorders and has been doing so since 2003.

 

Eric Hunter has taught accident reconstruction for the Washington State Patrol, various other law enforcement agencies, various associations and is currently an instructor for the HVE simulation software.  He has been teaching at the annual HVE forum since 2018.  Mr. Hunter has been a guest instructor for the University of Washington and the Seattle University School of Law.
